I have a nissan sentra 1.8L S and im having problems with the steering. THis happens more often when the car is cold. The steering locks when turning to the right or left. and it makes a squeal noise-when the car is in park or i'm holding the break petal with it on D. I had the power steering oil change and the belt tighten and changed as well. but the noise steals continues. Also the noise happens when i turn the steering wheel to one direction all the way. Does anyone had this happen before? and how were you able to get rid of the noise?

sounds like the power steering is hosed, that or control arm fighting it. not good to turn the wheel as far as it'll go, it strains the PS and will always cause leaks and plain trouble if done all the time.

Hey thank you for the replay

I appreciate you replying back to my post. I had the car check and all do you think it would be wise to change the power steering pump? to see if that might soft the problem.
