Make sure the secondary butterfly screw in the intake manifold have been loctited.

Also make sure the catalytic converter attached to the exhaust manifold has been replaced/removed.

Other than that I can't think of much. What concerns do you have? They are very reliable vehicles. I have driven mine from 38k miles to 76k miles and counting. I had to replace my battery, evap control valve, and my window motor. Other than those pesky, problems I have not had any down time.

Well while my search I have found a spec v with a spun rod bearing and I looked around some forums has been a few other people that this happened to as well. Now I don't know what they did to those cars maybe they were highly abused cars, but I don't know the owners personally so not sure what was going on. I just want to be sure that isn't a very common problem. Also to be sure there isn't anything else that could be a problem down the road.

The only difference that ispec know between the se-r and the spec v is that spec v has different seats and a6the speed manual transmission. Optional was 8(?) speaker audio system.
