I think if you wanted more power then you would need to research more about tuning as I suspect that the ecu's aren't easily tune-a-ble.

It would definitely be easier to find a platform (car) that has turbo already or a turbo kit that is already made. It is easier in the long run but this car is a commuter car. I would stick with suspension mods rather than go-fast mods.

Don't get me wrong..I own turbo cars, motorcycles and just find it easier to start with a platform that has those things going for it already.

Boring ass commute means boring ass car. Or if you want to live dangerously get an 1000cc+ bike and go nuts through traffic or start stunting your bike. now that is a skill that is worth watching.

maybe ten years down the line, someone would make a turbo kit, and something to tune it with along with the engine internals that would hold up to the amount of boost you probably crave.

just my .02 cents.

haha. yeah not so much. i have a 89 supra single turbo (t71) vinny tens shop did the work 819whp, 2006 boosa turboed (t3) slammed streched, and ive had many other cars and bikes. think about it how many people own civics? i thought that was a "Commuter" car. how many people have turbos an %$@& in them. i would rather have a one of a kind turbo or supercharged sentra now rather then 10 years from now when everyone else can have or afford it.

while being true, the majority of the R&D for those civic's have a massive market. If you really wanted an one of a kind car then build your own car from the ground up. This is my next progression towards car racing.

Finding the company that will turbo this turd and doing it right is two different stories. you should do it anyways to prove me wrong and i'll sit back and enjoy the show.

There isnt enough aftermarket going for the B16 yet. Do you own the Spec v?

If you're on myspecv.com, there is a user that was turbo'd for a bit, but there were just too many problems with it

really the only engine upgrades i've seen (so far, and correct me if i'm wrong or missing some) is really a CAI, exhaust and and chip (for the 2.0 engines). i'm in the hunt for more HP and potentially better MPG. turnonetics stated they may come out with one for the 4 banger but no word on it yet. so far i've only seen suspension and a few body mods.

and the few potential upgrades and mods are overpriced... if you ask me! lol!

There are also aftermarket headers available, however i'm not sure if they are available for the 2.0

I know they are available for the SE-R/Spec V models

i think its called a Q-chip by "unichip". i have an aunt in aguascalientes, Mexico where most of these were built and my cousin stated they have a chip for the ECM. you may try to find them on ebay, but i dont know the specs or anything.

i'll try and find more info, or i think there was one user on these forums with the black sentra (from brazil) that also has that mod. they probably dont sell them here in the US, because of emissions, but money talks gentlemen.

i was checking out Garrett Turbo kits and they may make an application for the sentra. Turbonetics has one, but its for the b15 SE-R. i'm thinking if i were to call them, or if they can somehow make a custom built turbo, with a wastegate and a blow-off valve for the sentra. its gonna cost some $$$ but hey... you'd have your turbo.

problem is i got an automatic, and i dont know if the CVT tranny can handle the turbo upgrade.

anyone know if it can?

cvts are for economy not for performance spoke to people at jet and its a
big hurdle there trying to overcome, i'll ask around about the turbo cause
i'm on the hunt for my 08 s. hopefully the tranny can handle maybe a low p.s.i.
of 7 or less. i'll be in touch.
