help!!! headlight issue

hello, I'm new to the forum and I hope I'm placing this in the right section. I'm having a problem with my headlight and I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem as well. I have a b16 and my passenger low beam does not work, I checked fuses and changed the bulbs. still nothing works. I have inspection coming up soon and don't want to fail because of that. please help. thanks in advance

More of an Altima Gen3/Gen4 guy, but the headlight relay would be my first guess.

I'm going to try that. I just figured that a relay would cause both to not work. its just funny because I have both of the hi beams working but just one low beam that works. ill try anything right now though. thanks

I missed the single bulb out bit...sorry. You are correct, there is only one relay for the LB and two (one each ) for the HB. See page LT-8 for more detail.

I assume it isn't just a bad bulb? Did you try switching bulbs from left to right? Inspect the bulb socket...sometimes bad connections eventually burn out.

Ok, and even though there is only one relay, each LB is fused separately. Did you check/swap the two LB fuses in the IPDM?

Do you have (access to) a DVM (digital multimeter)? You can check for 12V at the connector when the lights are supposed to be on. The other side of the connector should beep if you do a continuity test to ground (or if you cannot do that, it should show 12V from it to the +ve terminal)
