I just took some balsa wood and cut out a double din. From there i used a whole lot of filler and epoxy. It took a ton of sanding to get it smooth, but i then proceeded to go for the "hammered" paint look. I think im going to do just black with a couple clear coats this summer, its a work in progress.

Okay, I posted some of my pics on the forum long time ago, but time changes and so does my system.
I'll start from the beginning.
My first system:
Premier 560 deck (I think):

Infinity 5x7s coaxials, which I won't even show the pic of, who wants to see that ha?
Trunk setup:

1.25 sealed box with IDQ 12, goody good.
And one motha****in ugly amp rack!
with MTX8302 amp pushing the sub and rare Monitor-1 amp running Infinities.
As you can see I bought and ran 0g wire right from the start. I knew this whole audio thing is going to go far...

And then there came DLS components... Old ass reference series. I managed to put little hole with screwdriver in each mid while installing... ****in idiot. still played fine.

Making baffles was a real bitch, considering I've spent hours test'n'fitting, plus cutting the door pannel.

Then I decided to try sealing the doors. Being broke young idiot I got a couple of ft of eD's eDead from a guy for $20, not bad I guess. Please don't laugh. I only sealed the holes.


Later on, I bought 50ft of B-Quiet to properly deaden my doors:

And put in Seas CA18 7" mids
LPG tweeters were placed instead of dls in the rearview mirror triangles (nothing fancy, I'm stealthy ):


Last thing happened is I got PG Tantrum 1200.1 amp and 05 RE XXX this summer, everything else is the same.

I hope this wasn't boring, I tried my best to describe everything in a light funny manner.

I'm not doing anything fancy to the car, ie glassing, because this car is a piece of shit. And I love it.
