false floor trunk

anyone ever done a false floor system..i am planning on doing one...just wanted to see any setups..and how much it cost any of you to do it.


prolly gonna run 1 or 2 of either L7s or JL W7s

im not really sure what you are meaning by "false" but i deleted my spare tire well and installed the 2 15's in my trunk.. check it out HERE near he bottom of the page

How do you plan to incorporate w7's into a false floor? Or are you going to build a box over the false floor? You can easily make one by using the carpet for a template.

that i have no clue on. but my homeboy thats gonna build it for me will and i hope i wont have to sacrifice any trunk space for it. hoping it will all fit under the trunk *floor*

Wow that looks good. What kind of subs? size? i want 2 12s. why didnt u fiberglass the area where the subs are? instead of putting that piece on top of it. unless i cant tell by the pic. but IMO it would look better

To do the subs you want to use you will have to raise the "floor" for mounting depth of the subs most likely, IIRC the wheel well is roughly 8 inches deep. My Flatlines barely fit in there with 3/4" mdf as the baffle over the top on the well.
