I'll be installing a 10" soon

Hey, I posted a while about about a 10" sub and it'll be at my house shortly.
I plan to get it installed by Best Buy (Tweeter center is out of business ) so I was wondering about what it would cost.
I want to see if it will fit in the center console thing in the back seat in the middle...where the cupholder/armrest pulls out from but I don't know if it will fit.

So I'm wondering what the cost of install will be as I already have the sub and amp...

Agree...

I would take it to any local car audio shop and have them do it, before BB,

Or do it yourself!!

behind the rear armrest? i doubt it would fit, but does best buy even do custom work like that? they'd probably make you buy a box and install it in that.

Highly doubt it fitting and seriously doubt BB doing anything remotely custom like that.

The most likely outcome.

be careful when you take it to a local car audio shop though. my boyfriend bought me 2 10" JL audio subs last year, and i don't know what they did, but starting 2 months ago, my car's been dead in the mornings... lol

In many cases it is not where you go, but the person doing the install. A guy I know works at a best buy doing installs (and fiberglass work) and some of the stuff I have seen has been impressive. I live in CT and the best buy in manchester is garbage, yet the best buy at westfarms mall has a custom area and will do everything from single din HU installs to custom fiberglass in both the trunk and kick plates, etc. Basically it varies. Just go somewhere that has a good reputation and has been around for a while.

As for whether it will fit or not, have you measured it yet? You will need at least 10+ inches... and I doubt the arm rest is that wide...

nahh, my battery is perfectly fine. Aaron fixed it though, by unplugging something from the battery.

i had best buy install a system in my previous car, and they did a good job

i only went there because:
-the box was pre loaded with the subs
-i already had an amp
-their wiring kits and install was the cheapest

overall they did a good job but i wouldnt really go back there for anything custom or anything too expensive

why would you only want a single 10'' you should go all out one time @ least start with a double 10" bin, seen that you already have the amp & wiring

I have the 10" sub and amp...I don't want to put anymore than that on the bose radio, it's already got a ton of bass.
I planned to go to Best Buy because it's the only shop I know of locally, everything else would be quite a trip for me. My dad always went to Tweeter but they closed recently so that's not an option. There is a car place that's about a half hour away and I've always been happy with them (They did my tint, fog lights, and some stuff for my dad in the past) but IDK if they even do audio work, in their little shop they don't have any audio stuff (speakers, subs, amps, etc)
