love/hate dealer relationship(NJ)
First off i would like to say i love my dealership. My family has bought two infinitis from there within the last 2 years, and i helped my neighbors buy a '05 g35x there last year.
This was all bought from the same salesguy, who we always ask for by name, who is now the general manager.
On the 30th of december i dropped off my G20 for repairs(under certified pre-owned warranty). They did a great job, replaced the MAF and i didnt even have to pay the $95 'inspection fee'. Great service.
When i picked her up she was leaking coolant(only drove her home), but i could only go back to them on the 31st(but they were closed). I chekced her out and noticed the radiator was cracked along the bottom seem. So when i went back on the 2nd the fun began.
The service lady was incredibly rude(not the same as teh first time), as if her sole job was making me feel bad that i brought it back to them. She promised to reserve me a loaner for 8am january 4th when i would drop off my g20.
Arriving there this morning they had me wait while they 'inspected' the car, only to determine after 20 mins that i do indeed need work done. Warranty work? Seems not ... radiator isnt covered under any warranty ... BUT THE RADIATOR CAP IS!!! WOOHOO! (quoted $609.95 to fix everything minus $8 for the warrantied radiator cap)
now wheres my loaner? oh yea ... she didnt reserve me one. seems she didnt see any merit in my complaint about needing work done. so they offered to call enterprise-rent-a car and pay for the rental. i walked out.
im calling Infiniti USA as i write this.
