Will this fit the 2nd gen as well? Or are we talking seperate bars for seperate generations?

my assumption is it would fit both but I still need local test cars before I commit or attempt anything

I was under the impression that the 2nd gen was wider than the first gen slightly? You'd have to use some kind of rod end connection at one end if you were to make 1 which fits both generation cars. My reference is the stillen fstb's. The rod end also allows you to tighten the system down.

If 20 people end up being interested, we can make a thread about finding someone in vancouver, I'm pretty sure i've seen people around the boards from vancouver.

Yeah seriously, I'm surprised no one from Vancouver even jumped in to say anything.. I also agree, if Taz feels more comfortable with a deposit from the members who committed in buying one. Whatever he decides really. But all that doesn't matter without a test car..

Redlion, I just noticed your post about your making parts too.. Hopefully this goes through with the rear strut bar and if doesn't at least you know it's on demand. Either way I'm sure ill have something you made on my car. After all, this is just an interest post, no test car no product..

Yes we are...with no car in Vancouver for Taz to work on. I see a stand still on this one.

Honestly, I'm not in the Altima that much but w/the '01 engine swap over the summer, this car has actually become fun again (for what it is)....Depending on the price, I'd be willing to help out if it'll make ANY noticeable difference.

Mods: Urethane suspension bushings in front end, FSTB for now...I actually like the stock rear setup, seeing how its handling literally saved my life from getting T Boned from a semi some years back...

Count me in.

BTW, '93 Altima here.

Jeremy

Yeah that's true, but perhaps if it stops raining he might be able to visit a junkyard to do the measurements.
