How badly does it slip before it grabs? Do you have to let off the gas? Does it do it in any other gears? How long has it been doing it? When did it start?

if you're 200% sure its not the clutch or flywheel, then blackedout is probably onto it. i'd look at the alignments of practically everything outside the transmission. you didnt forget to put that metal spacer/shield thing between the engine and tranny back on last time you had it apart did you?

If he forgot the spacer, it would make it hard to disengage b/c the clutch assy would be closer to the flywheel. The more I think about it, you may have something wrong with the hydraulic system that's causing it to not engage the clutch fully.

One other thing to consider is a rear main seal leak. It would have to be pretty bad to contaminate a clutch so soon though...

considering the op hasn't responded yet, it can't be too much of a problem or he's already worked it out.

9-10hrs work days has kept me away from you fans! seriously i think its my flywheel because its the only thing that has been in there with every clutch combo, someone said the the offset of a 240 flywheel is different,so that+it being aftermarket could be why after the break in-period the clutch begins to slip.

but if it was slipping I would suspect it would do it in every gear all the time.

Not only did you have the same flywheel during all clutch setups, but don't forget you had the same hydrolic system too. I'm still curious about how high the clutch engagement is on the pedal. If its near the top I have a theory about what could be happening.
