Ok for you seasoned 93-96 Altima owners (or whoever can chime in). I have a Maxima, and I'm not buying cheap parts for it. However, I got a 94 Altima and it needs a new flex section along with muffler. After scouring around the interwebz for a bit, I found this (see below). I was wondering if any one has and input on these, or if I should look elsewhere. I'm not looking for something fancy dancey or anything like that, just something cheaper then OEM parts (ebay looks to be it, and no junk yard exhaust). So my question again is, what do you think about these? Also, if negative, please offer some others. I looked at OBX but they dont have the 93-96....only 97-01, and I don't care for Stillen. Thanks from a noob Altima owner!
for that price, id say do it. hell, if they dont work well, sell em for double.

haha, yeah im thinking they could work, with a little modification i could probably get them to bolt up...just worried about the egr tube, 02 sensor, and the bend past the flex section to the cat
yeah, but more then wanting to spend....dont need anything performance really unless i can find it cheaper...not to mention what im talking about is before the cat back....thanks though
I say do it. The egr should bolt up fine and the O2 should as well, now getting the egr out, that's a different story. The bend after the flex pipe is normal(standard) with all of the headers that you'll see for the 1st or 2nd gen altimas. Also, that header would be ideal for a 93 or 94, since they are OBD1. And the OBX header will fit all KA altimas 93-01. OBX Header 93-97 98-01 Nissan Altima KA24DE FWD Exhaust:eBay Motors (item 190335546401 end time Sep-22-09 22:09:43 PDT)
02 Maxima SE 6sp: Because of the complexity of these systems, have the vehicle tested by a dealer service department or other qualified automotive repair facility. Haynes manual FTL.

not the best with the 4-1. I had to use a dremel on the inside of the flange for the flex/downpipe. Now it fits fine. If I could go back, I would've just bought the generic header, just because it has a flange that bolts up. But I havent installed my header yet because getting that egr out of the stock manifold is a pita.
egr is the hardest part of the entire install.....but you will have to grind a small piece of the block (its nothing major its a tab they used during production that didnt get taken off...)
