PHIL! pls tell me where u got your exhaust mani? And imo isn't a t28 a little small? I'm sure it'll spool exxxtremely fast but you may be lacking in your top end...whats your target hp/tq with this project? I would look at some compression maps and invest approx 20hours of research before you make any purchases...just my 2 cents..if i could go back in time i would've bought the parts i'm buying now...the first time around lol ...meh hindsight

Custom lol. What I would do for a mani, which one user just did and is getting ride of his 700 dollar unequal length mani for, is an ss autochrome log manifold and just reweld it. A t28 isn't to big, but alot of sr builds use them becaise they can make up to 270-80 whp and spool fast. I just don't like the idea of running so much psi on stock blocks. And yea hindsight lol, I wish I went cheaper on some parts now.

Are you the one phil was talkin about?? why are you gettin rid of it? If it is reliable enough to withstand 300whp i will buy the shit outta that !!! lol hopefully it is for a top mount t3/t4 ?? that'd b sweet! any pics? and I've read a few different forum conversations about ss autochrome mani's not performing well(and i cant weld)...i was curious because their pricing is awesome ....so awesome i was skeptical...i would REALLY love to go equal length but the pricing for those is a little nuts on the other end of the spectrum...

o ya and that was the other point i forgot to mention about the t28...that phil already said... it would take wayyyy too much psi to get the same amount of hp from low boost t3/t4 and if u have the money to buy new internals....and spent it on rebuilding...you'd end up being overbuilt for your turbo and wastin some skrill...i'd go a lil bigger just in case u want to turn up the boost later....if more power hasn't become an obsession yet...your car will definitely end up owning u, post boost lol

SS has gotten alot better with their products just like Turbo XS. These companies had a bad rep because they were bad, but they have used their profits to make better products. Equal length is cool, but I am not a fan because most builds don't require it. If I had a nice 911 I was throwing a new manifold one than yes I would love one. But for our cars I prefer log style manifolds. And the turbonetics will handle 300whp without issues.

Like I said ss is alot better now. That being said 300 is an excellent price, especially shipped, and these manifolds are imo the best ones besides fully custom ones which cost 4 times the price.

i have the turbonetics mani. on mine....its an excellent piece and you cant find them anywhere...i personally would jump on drunk's asking price...
