Thx.

We'll see if this will work soon, as we have four interested test mule owners.

Cheers.

Here is the scoop:

The install is free, cost of the SSV intake is less than $325 for the test mule. SSV intake normally goes for $995. Dyno pulls are the responsibility of the test car owner. Expect to leave the car at their site for 2-3 days.

They need an Altima 3.5L the week of June 13th.

Test mule owner agrees to post his Dyno sheets on the Kinetics and Altimas.net Website.

It would be very cool if we could find a 3.5L test mule with lots of mods to really see what this new intake can do on the Dyno .

Are you interested, and live near Orange County, Velicos?
I'll do it manibal, we'll how it does with nitrous; I PM'd with the details.

Manibal good job on getting this thing over the hump, it's awesome that we finally have someone fully willing to make this product for us!

I'm still worried about the secondarys and how the ECU will react, I'm sensing more CELs from this....

I don't think we are going to get any ses codes for this mod. I don't know of any sensors after the maf going to the engine. but I could be wrong.

There is one more sensor that sits directly on top of the intake manifold. It's next to the canister looking device which is involved with the secondarys I believe.

I guess we should disconnect it now and see if it throws any CELs =)

Do you guys know if the 350Z has a similar sensor? If yes, then kinetics Racing has delt with it already and it should not be any trouble.

I already asked him about this and he didn't know of this issue with the 350z. He said the 350z doesn't even *have* secondaries......that we have.

I think that is just the actuator that opens the vacuum cansiter to actuate the secondaries. It has only two wires so there is no feedback and the engine should not know if its disconnected.

Someone needs to disconnect it and wire the secondaries open to the short runners and drive the car to see what its like.

It'll be nice to get rid of that ugly vacuum canister and the hoses under there.

Yeah, but the Nissan engineer who invented the ugly vacuum canister( MR. HOOVERSAN') will be greatly disappointed , and may commit hary cary after he finds out what we have done to his beloved family sedan! LOL
