Is it just me, or does it look like the intake runners are just tack welded to the plate on the bottom? i dont see a complete bead on any of them

No driving impressions as of yet. All I did was drive it home in bumper to umper. Robert asked that I put the least amount of miles possible before the dyno, so I have not driven it since.
I have been driving the wifes pathfinder the last couple of days so the altima would feel faster relative to the pathy. It would not be fair. I get to keep it for 2 weeks or so. so I will give driving impressions later. Until then. . .
Here you go. I hope it was worth the wait. I think it
Why the least amount of miles? I would think you would want to drive it often over several days to let the ECU adapt in order to get a more realistic picture.

Not sure if computer can adjust to a very probable lean condition due to the new intake... I'm no expert in the subject but by looking at this intake, we may need new (updated) injectors!
I guess tuning with a piggyback should do it...

Why are you anticipating the car running lean? In any case, shouldn't we see what the full picture is by giving the ECU sometime to adapt? Just my two cents.

I was just guessing about lean condition... I'm so used to bikes... when I change intake (filter) and exhaust, I always end up re-jetting the carb... but our cars have a computer and injectors!
Agree. Letting the ECU learn the new setup is probably best, and a DYNO should take care of any guessing. As a matter of fact, when I added the Berk, headers and exhaust, the Dyno was showing my car running too rich... so go figure!... I wonder if by adding this new mod, it will end up in the "perfect" setting.
If this was my ride with the new IM, I wouldn't want to WOT without some kind of third-party reading.
Yo that intake manifold looks freaking sick as hell. I hope they make a new engine cover for it too, but something that looks stock. I bet that thing is going to throw some good numbers on the dyno. Like everyone else is saying its either going to run too rich/lean. The ecu can only adapt so much until it has to be piggybacked or etc.
I doubt that... Designing a car with the MAF and ECU/injectors at the limits stock would be poor engineering. I imagine there is plenty of room for more air...

O yea defenitly, but am just saying like anyone that is going to get that should defenitly SAFC it. Like if it is going to be just simply bolted on the gains wouldn't be to its full potential.
