Thanks man; I'm glad your'e finished w/ the install.
Any idea how many shims you had to replace for the cams. Could get expensive if you had to buy 24 of them.
You only have to change the shims and valve springs if your'e gonna inc. your rev limiter to more than 7000 RPMs, otherwise you could just install the cams; and yes you have to replace 24 of them; not too expensive though, mossy performance has the valve springs and shims kit for 235.00 + shipping.
Alright!, Thanks manibal and kinetics for choosing me, just for the record I have an 02 3.5 se 5 sp. (which is mechanically the same as an 04 anyway); That's right, Deluboz sold me the cams for the group buy price(which I'll post in a new thread), and together w/ JWT valve springs and shims kit should be in this weekend.
Congrats!... What brand of headers...?

without cams but with every other bolt on and S-AFC people should see dyno's @270ish with cams 290ish to the wheels. Shoot that is 50hp off any FI car. I can smell the rubber burning
i guess that count with intake manifold? cause i/h/e gives you about 40-50whp. intake manifold another 15-20 WITH TUNNING, might see 270 to the wheels but not likely.
now cams will really complement all the above and that will problably bump to at least 285 or 290.
Just to keep things in perspective, only one NA 350z has hit the 300whp that I know of, and that engine had all the bolt ons, cams, and internal work including a slight bump in compression. Very few 350z's are in the 280's or more, even with cams.

RWD to FWD
they lose more power to the wheels then we do.
both cars with the same mods and same tune the Altima should hit a higher dyno number then the Z due to the fact it is FWD.
