well. if you showed them money. that will make them hurry in production.
no money = longer time
is so close from production. somebody should talk to them and tell them that if they need money we can start a group buy with a better price and they need to sign a contract with a max deadline of 2 weeks finished product
What I think is funny like people 10 pages back where starting a GB for a product that hasn't even hit production. Why would you shell out money for something like that...
There can be no group buy if the company has not offered one. People were just showing interest.
what happen if you give em money and they still lag? or decide not to do it? you out of product and lost your money for that time. tell them to start a group buy with price. everyone that wants one sooner or later can put down like 25-50 $ to show interest. but they have to have a price and a product that they are selling. whatever happned to no pics = lies? no dyno numbers = lies? i dont think its too much for people that ARE willing to spend 6-800$ to know what they are getting. having said so i would put up 50$ to get their arses going. but they have to give a definate date. none of this in 2 -4 more weeks. it be done on x date and that should be it. If they are not concerned about all these people waiting perhaps you can direct them a link to this thread. bottom line move on do it or tell everyone we dont really want to. just dont keep people hanging. bad business practice.
well, its not that difficult. if we give them money they lose all oportunities to do business on the net plus we have a contract. so they will get a big fine and pay back in case the don't comply. i think just as an incentive. but i guess give them a deposit of a 100 dollars with a deadline should be perfect.
WITH A SIGNED CONTRACT.
and some idea of estimated nums, or price correlated with numbers. i would not want to shell out 700$ for 7 whp. i also want 4.5 % interest in case of a refund. market rate of lost opportunity else where. That would tie them down. the more people sign up and if they dont make it the more they would have to shell out in interest plus principle. about 5 bucks a head if they get 25 people and they back out they just lost 125$.
They did not come to the forums and say hey guys give us money so you can have a product. Mannibal was nice enough to approach them and they showed interest. They have never asked for anybodies hard earned money. They make a good product that will sell itself.
Then you complain that you do not want to pay for something you have not seen. If that is the case just be patient and when the numbers are out we will try and start a group buy.
Buy your headers first or you may not see the gains you expect. Once you have the I/H/E/P then you should think about the intake manifold. After that all that remains is a piggyback+tuning and possibly cams. Get the other stuff first if you are so impatient.
I do not like waiting either, but if the parts supplier is the delay then kinetix cannot finish the product.
FYI all the parts are in, they have no excuses to lag now, so cross your fingers.
