Buy your headers first or you may not see the gains you expect. Once you have the I/H/E/P then you should think about the intake manifold. After that all that remains is a piggyback+tuning and possibly cams. Get the other stuff first if you are so impatient.
This is my biggest gripe with the people wanting this so bad when they are nearly stock....

He was talking about anyone who is close to stock and wants 25 whp from this mod, when they are clearly limiting their gains by not tackling the bigger bottlenecks in the car's breathing first.
You may not fall into this category but there are already people who say I don't want to spend X dollars for 5 whp. It's too much, such a ripoff and so forth. Yet these same people need to realise that this mod will benefit you more when you have headers because that is one of the biggest breathing restrictions on our cars, which is why it yields the biggest gains for a breathing mod.
Edit: I think this thread has run its course. When the IM has been tested and Kinetix releases them I will start a new thread with my before and after dyno numbers and I hope shyestpark will post his before and after also in the same thread. Potentialy a group buy thread.

Reason: added insight
Please, I'm trying to repress the memory of having paid for those over four months ago. I know they've got a good reputation and are working to get the code issue solved (thanks again AA), but it's obviously not their first priority. The estimated shipping date when I orderd was Oct 24th.
Let the product finish, be available, proven and then buy. In the mean time, we have to find some joy in the anticipation or we'll all go crazy.

I do not think that the code issue will be resolved anytime soon. They will probably just sell the as is and tell the buyer to beware. From my interactions with John (HS) it does not appear that he is willing to put in the required R&D.
All that is needed is a wideband A/F meeter various bungs on the headers and the time to take readings until you find the "sweet spot." If there is no sweet spot on the current headers (2002-2004 model plus EGR bung) then there should be a few re-designs. This is a lot of R&D for a small operation that wanted a quick fix but ran into other issues.

THe thread may have been brought up in May 2005 but the actual commencement of the product R&D was late October if I recall. Crawford was also working on this and they dropped it. Kinetix is going through with it.
yeah it was supposed to be modified z manifold which has been out for a while...crawford dropped it but least we know. they did keep us running around reading 1000+ posts lol
dont get me wrong i want it and appericiate all the people involved, but just hope its hurried. i dont want to be a boxed 80's accord with rims spoiler and noise. i would like the car to perform while it still looks good etc.
thanks for all involved in keeping this going and keeping those guys pushing however possible.
I was parusing the rippmods website and came across this tibby that is all done up, noticing that it has an Aftermarket Intake Manifold aswell, but its not listed anywhere in the mods list nor could I find it in thier product lineup.
They do however say "RIPP can make any of the parts on this car listed below available; if you have any questions simple contact our sales department via phone or through email. " But if its not listed maybe they didn't make it, and I wonder who did so maybe we can approach them as well...
