We are getting much closer, and hopefully I can have pics for you within a
week of a polished version. As soon as we re-install after polish, they
will be doing more after dynos. At the same time we hope to produce 1 more

Well I decided that I will just modify the stock one. Not because of the length of time by Kinetix but it did allow me time to consider the cost and benefit and I think I can accomplish almost as much with the old one. I finished it yesterday took about 4 hours to cut the shelf completely out for direct flow to all 6 runners and eliminate the butterfly valve. It will reduce low end but for the track at WOT you are only at a low RPM for a brief time in 1st gear after that its all over 4000 RPM. I also have a 3400 stall converter so even less time at lower RPM's.

Ok here is pic, its hard to show the whole inside, but basically I just removed the whole shelf area between the upper and lower area. You have to be careful that you don't cut right through the wall. I used a small body saw to do it but the individual that told me about it used a dremel type tool with an aluminum cutting bit. I cut as close as I could all the way around to remove the maximum amount of material and open up the area between all 6 runners.

Second pic is the butterfly valve cover I made out of tinted lexan.

I am also going to make a phenolic spacer where the lower IM connects to reduce heat. I already bought the material but its going to take some work to cut it out.

The Power valve opens for top end and joins the upper and lower areas effectively reducing the runner length. What I have done is remove the power valve plus the remaining metal that joins the upper and lower. The metal I removed is probably 3 times the area of the power valve butterfly and completly opens that area completely so there is no division at all.

This pic sort of shows how the length of the runners is lengthened and shortened by the power valve operation.
