MAFci Prototype needed in Baltimore Washington Area

Hello,

We have developed a MAFci System for the 2002-2004 3.5 Altima with big hp gains at the wheels. THE 2002-2003 WIRING AND FUEL MAPS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED, and are now available. With 1.5 hours of installation time, the Mazda6s MAFci System™ offers average gains of 16.58 hp and 15.85 ft lbs., with peak differences of 24.03 hp and 20.35 ft lbs. The 2002-2003 Nissan Altima offers average gains of 15.32 hp and 15.59 ft lbs., with peak differences of 26.13 hp and 23.56 ft lbs. Please e-mail me at JAdams@cp-e.com for dyno graphs of the Altima, web page has not been updated yet. It is average horsepower that is important and is the factor that will bring quarter mile times down.

A MAFci System is our, Custom Performance Engineering, Inc., line of intake systems. It is the first line of intelligent intakes designed specifically for mass air sensor equipped cars and trucks. The Nissan mass air flow sensor makes the Altima SE-R a perfect candidate for the MAFci System.

Every MAFci System includes a high flow aFe reusable filter and all the associated plumbing (Usually 3.5" OD pipe), a bigger mass air sensor housing, associated hardware, and a MAF Customizer. The MAF Customizer is what allows the use of bigger mass air housing and is also used to tune the car for gains not possible with other intakes.

This post is to find a Nissan Altima SE-R to map the fuel trims. The hardware is the same in the 2002-2005's. We do not expect money we just want a list to determine if there is interest out there. If there is interest then we will develop and test a prototype to determine if the gains are there. If they are we would like to sell it if not the project will be scrapped.

We are also looking for a stock performing 2004 Altima in the Washington DC, Baltimore area to do the development on. In return the owner will receive a free tunable intake for use on his/her Altima.

We would also like your input. What types of things would you like to see included in the design of this intake.

Please visit www.mazda6tech.com, www.mazda6club.com to see voiced opinions of our products. Please also check out the dyno video of the STi MAFci System on our web page, www.cp-e.com. Please direct all e-mails, questions to Josh Adams at Jadams@cp-e.com. Thank you again for your time.

Very Respectfully,

Custom Performance Engineering

Virg did you get the tunable version?

The CPe just doesn't make sense to me as there is the S-AFCII and the Berk V2...

well I thought the same. When I saw the real program. is a nice program. much much more tunable than the safc2. as soon as I installed I felt a big difference at wot. that is me and my firend butt dyno of course. today I'm going to do a couple of passes on a dyno to check a/f ratio but eventually this software is very complete. I will love to send you some information but until cp-e approves the copy of the documents they send, I can't do it. they install was a piece of cake. I did it in an hour and a half. this software can be integrated later to a wideband sensor (they are going to release a baddass one). another thing is 2 different maps at a flip of a switch. I'll ask them to see if I can take some snapshots of the software to show you guys.

Well hmph, I'll have to talk with you one evening and go over a thing or two to see if it's really worth getting. There hasn't been any real proof or data on the boards besides DJ's few images he posted.

^^ Hold onto the Injen / S-AFCII.....lol

Unless they actually come out with real results that are amazing it's not worth the investment.

Will these work with the Technosquare ECU?

Will it yield even bigger gains? Or will the two just cancel out?
I don't know if I should wait for the cp-e to come out first before I get the Technosquare, or if it doesn't even matter.

Thanks in advance, and very sorry for the thread-jack.

Pete
