SFR still has the car as the transmission gets finished up. It should be all finished this week. At that time we are turning it up to 10 psi.

The new motor is built and will be dropped after Christmas in anticipation of a snowy winter.

What are the specs on the new motor? What kind of power are you expecting at 10 pounds with the current motor and built trans?

The new motor was blueprinted and is equipped with the Brian Crower 4.15 liter stroker(BC crank, BC rods, 100mm CP 9.0:1 pistons), Darton M.I.D. sleeves, AAM Oil Pan Spacer, ARP main studs, ARP head studs, RC Engineering 750cc injectors, Headgames custom heads(tuned for gt40 powered vq41), Brian Crower 264* cams, and full Ferrea valve train w/ +1 oversize valves.

Once the motor is in the car, AAM is custom building an intake manifold that they will tune on the dyno for best power. The engine management will be run on an HKS F-Con V Pro standalone. I probably left stuff out, oh well. Its a lot of stuff to remember.

I'm really not sure what I'll come up with. It would be reasonable to see low 400's if 5 psi was 300whp and 8 psi was 375whp.

Even with the power now traction will be a MAJOR issue. I ordered the Tein Superstreet coilovers w/ EDFC. I also will have a custom 3 pt front strut brace made to match custom fender braces and a custom control arm brace to try to stiffen this bitch up. I ordered the new Toyo R888 tires for up front. Next summer I plan on having a widebody built to fit some fat 11'' wheels all around.

Iam very interested in the fender braces and control arm braces for the altima. I was considering makin my own fender braces, but it would b a lot easier to have them made.

did that technosquare kill the ses light on your dash? i have the headers, i'm just postponeing putting them on until i figure out how to avoid the ses light. i don't want the headers to hurt performance when it comes to the computer, i'm only looking for more.
drop me a line if you could. thanks,
t

that's teh best that ran??? man, i thought that my car would do 100 in a quarter. hmmm, what's faster? a manual or auto? hmmm, that took a lot off my ego. i was betting that i had a 100 mph car. i bet my bud (has a 86 mustang with a grand national motor.... a good 8 second car) that my car would get 100 in a quarter.
he said that it wouldn't, i guess he's right. i hope it's just the autos that run taht speed
