You don't really need a torque wrench for the block plate. A socket or open end wrench will be sufficient.

Basic Block Plate has added to seat of pants performance gain. No loss in low end noted on '04 3.5SE automatic transmission, Mahalo, Aaron at NWP! Packaging & labeling of hardware much appreciated.

The torque specs are in the instructions that are included with every kit. You can also read them ahead of time by downloading the PDF file from our website.

NWP Engineering, Inc - Phenolic Thermal Intake Manifold Spacers - Eliminate Heat Soak in your Nissan!

The proper torque procedure is in numerical order, 13-15 lbs. I highly recommend that you follow it closely to prevent any problems.

Thank you for posting that. I am glad you are happy. I'm sure you'll love the spacers as well.

Aaron,
Is that a range or a 2 step procedure?

It is not a two step torque procedure. It's a range. The bolts should be torqued to 13-15 lbs in the numerical order outlined in the instructions.

I would just like to say that the guys at NWP are great! I ordered my block off plate(Engraved one) about a week ago, and over a holiday weekend nonetheless , was supposed to be on back order until the 18th but I received it TODAY!! These guys have great communication and shipping was extremely fast, so just giving the thumbs up. Can't wait to get it installed, maybe if I feel ambitious enough I'll do it tonight.

2-3 days shipping and site advises backorder dates change. NC to HI, USPS 5 days enroute, Friday the 4th a holiday, shucks, beats UPS and FedEx hands down, and very resonable shipping rate. Give it until tomorrow if yours left on the 7th as scheduled. Well worth the wait, satisfaction guranteed!
