Maxima has the same problems that we do. No room. have talked to Steve and Kyle about some of this stuff before, F.I. is not high on the list of things for them to look into. They aren't even doing anything with the ECU anytime soon either.
Either way - are you using E-manage to tune?? This has made its way over to the 4th gen forum. As far as wideband tuning, I do know that the 07+ Altima uses stock wideband AFR sensors. I think that the 05-06 Altimas do also. My intentions are to purchase the Autoenginuity (AutoEnginuity® - OBD2 Scan Tool - Professional PC and PDA Diagnostics) with the Nissan-enhanced package for $300 and use the stock widebands to tune the car. The autoenginuity BASIC package ($210) will allow you to view AFR's with the stock WB sensors - which is perfect for tuning. This all means that you don't have to add more parts to the car - forget about an external wideband sensor for tuning. I can just use the stock sensors and use the Autoenginuity to access the WB sensor readings through the ECM. Something to consider.
did you buy this yet? so its a plug and play system for 300??
