Cattman headers + O2 simulator result

For those who are interested on O2 sims...
I don't know if somebody did that before but anyway here are my experience... I just installed cattman headers and O2 simulators(2), and no SES. I just put ~200 miles on the car since the installation and no SES. Now my car have cattman headers + cattman Y pipe(no precat) and 2 secondary O2 simulators. I will keep you updated on this...

STFU. I am getting tired of seeing you post this in everyone's thread on the headers. He didn't say that they sound amazing or anything like that. What the fcuk do you want a video of?

Luiggie, so you have a y-pipe with no cat correct? how are your o2 simulators situated to prevent you getting a SES light(at least for now anyways)?

Keep us posted....and got any dyno results?

that's because it's the 05-06 alti's that have the problem.

i thought that was a completely different problems with the egr. but we should be in the same category with no cats... i have had a cat SES light for a few months until i got the o2 sim.

the cattmans should have fixed at least the 05-06 problem.

Yes, Y - pipe with no cat. When connect the O2 sim to the sensors you don't need to screw the sensor to the exhaust. I just use a couple of tie wraps and tie the O2 sensors to engine bay.

The dyno is pending I am waiting to complete ~500 miles for clutch to break in. When I installed the headers I also install Clutch Master stage 3 and Fidanza FW. So I will do some dyno tuning soon and I will post the results as allways. Dyno tuning Cattman headers with Greddy EU will be interesting.

^ I think he means, where they are placed in the exhaust, not how they hook up.

The main initial 05-06+ problem was account they have wideband O2 sensors. 02-04 don't, so sims always worked on them. Till Cattman, 05-06+ was SOL. I think some may still have a problem, but for now, it appears that Brian got the problem licked.

I didn't have to placed in the exahust, with the O2 sims I just tie wrap the O2 sensors with the O2 sims to some place into the engine bay.

I will post some pics later.

how exactly did he solve the problem. i heard different things im so confused. is it the metal he used or the way he angled the 02 sensors?

im guessing 02 sims would work on the secondaries on my hotshots if i removed the cat but what about the primaries? i want to know what he did so i could try it out. if it dont work then atleast i tried.

^^^Cattman headers only have 2 holes, in those holes you need to put the primaries, the other 2 sensors are the secondaries I used the O2 sims on those secondaries sensors and I didn't have to make 2 holes on my exahust to plug the secondary sensors with the sims because it not neccesary.

I just use tie wraps to tie the secondary sensors to someplace on the engine bay. The primaries are the one that need to be on the headers. I will post pics tonight.

**This is for manual trans, I dont kow about auto.

PS
OMG is to hard when you try to explain something in other language and you dont know the correct words like the word "to tie" but I at least I tried.
