no problem. while you have everything out you should eliminate the egr system. leave the sensor plugged in so you dont throw codes.

Saltima the QR25 doesn't have an EGR or exhaust gas recirculation system like the VQ. The QR uses exhaust valve overlap to draw exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber. That is also one reason that a failing pre-cat can ruin a QR so quickly since it sucks all the material right back into the combustion chamber.
