NTB07-042 - Need Tech Advice

I had this TSB done a month ago and I got my car back and it had a magical leak from one of the clutch lines. The dealer is telling me they did this repair without removing the engine and in no way touched the drivers side of the car. I doubt it since they also broke the vacuum switch on the UIM (on the right side). After some debating I got the dealer to replace the busted line. So I get the car back last night, drive about a mile and the clutch goes to the floor stays there and fluid is pouring out of it. I call the dealer and they have it taken to the shop and are looking at it. So my question is do you have to pull the engine to perform this TSB? I feel like they are going to try and run me around again and I need a leg to stand on.

Thanks guys!

i believe the TSB NTB07-042 is for the timing chain tensioner , so yes , it it possible that they pulled the engine to access it easier . ask the actual mechanic that did the work if he pulled the engine .

it is simple , you brought a full working car into the dealership to have a TSB fixed , they gave you back a broken car . its the dealers responsibility to fix it and return you a fully working car .

good luck , tell us how it turns out .

It is the tensioner. They finally fixed it but it took some coaxing on my part. I talked to the tech and they lifted the engine up about 8 inches to get the cover and stuff off. Anyway its fixed now and all is well. Thanx guys.
