It's a bit more than 4 bolts, but its not real bad. It involves detaching the lower engine mounts, either by detaching the mounts from the subframe, or from the engine itself. You also have to detach the lower control arms from the subframe. IIRC theres a few other things attached to the subframe too, like cooling lines, and the sway bar itself. Then, there are the four main bolts you were referring to. Of course you will have to remove the y-pipe as well.

thanks to everyone who responded..hopefully it sounds a lot better..have the magnaflow catback on it right now, block plate and AEM CAI, heard it may be raspy but with a bigger resonator on it that it should sound damn good.

I have the Megan headers, I let the stealership do the install, took him a whole day to do, with lots of foul language involved, they actually did it cheaper than everybody else I got quotes from, and some didn't even want to try. It was a lot louder afterwords (I have the Magnaflow catback as well) - I actually went and had a second resonator put in that really tames it down and gives it a nice rumble. With the one resonator it was way too loud & raspy for my tastes at anything over 3000 rpm -The cops would have ticketed me for excessive noise.

Well I got my car today..it was 391.00 which was a shocker since I figured it may be a little more than 400.00...car sounds fckin sick..I love it..has such a nice rumble in every gear under 3,000rpm's n when I get on it the intake whistle's so loud sounds almost like a turbo lol couldn't be happier...car seemed a little slower tho..does it take a while for the comp. To get used to it or something? Cuz I shut it off..took it back out n it was so much more powerful...spanked a Gt mustang(not saying much) but it was nice!

Wow..i went to the dealership just to see how much it was gonna be and they flat out said they don't do it. "We don't do any modifications for performance except brakes." I was like...gay.

It seemed to me like my car was a little slower at first too.. I just figured it was b/c the car was so much louder, it made it seem slower. But now I can definately feel the difference esp. at higher rpms, also more rubber on the 1-2 shift. It also had a wierd and random vibration in the exhaust for the first two weeks or so, but it hasnt done that since. And about the SES light.. it WILL come on, just give it time. I also went about 100 miles or so before mine came on.
