sharp! tim just told me today they made some changes to the manifold that improve it aesthetically in addition to making it easier for them to produce. as far as power improvements, i'm not sure. i guess we'll find out soon, but he seems stoked about the revisions.
prices haven't changed:
$1,100 for sandblast finish
+$200 for for polishing
+$400 for chrome
...forgot to mention:
if you plan on polishing or chroming it, make sure that you let them know before they put it all together. if not, then chances are you'll have spots that are not as good as others.

Tuko, thanks for taking time to do this. Do you have the run files; just want to compare with my dynos? What gear was the dyno done in? I know your rev limiter is raised already so that's why you're at past 120. I am going back to the dyno before and after my Technosquare L-Spec flash (waiting until the 19th - technician out of town still ).

It is really good to see power in the mid-range instead of up top.

Of all the maintenance things, changing the fuel filter/pump appears to have improved the acceleration of my car (just how it feels overall)--that's why I would like to dyno again.

Thanks, not necessarily familiar with the gearing on the 6SPD Altimas, in my 5SPD, my 3rd goes to 105 @ 6500RPM cutoff; if I get the TS L-SPEC, I don't know how much further the MPH will go. Cookaroo, where does your MPH stop now with your rev limiter removed in 3rd gear?

I haven't been to the track yet with the flash so i'm not sure. Next month I will know so hopefully someone else can answer that for you in a more timely manner lol.

Damn..Finally an IM that produces great gains. The price is the only thing holding me back on this one.

Third gear will hit 105? Last time I went to the track, I trapped as high as 101.66 and it was very close to redline. I didn't think it would go another 3mph. Guess it would depend a little on tire size as well.

B. Get a "re-tune." 10-15WHP might be.. a little high. Maybe in certain regions, but not an entire 10-15WHP difference across the entire board.

My F-Spec was only tuned for CAI/Headers/2.5" exhaust. But I had a 3" exhaust, WAI and SSIM in addition. My A/F stayed within 12.8:1-13.3:1. That's the thing, without knowing your A/F ratio during the runs.. I can't make a judgment call on whether or not this modification responded so well just because of the manifold or because of the accompanying modifications that you have made. But the overall response is still VERY impressive. Someone like whore*jay or myself could really benefit from a modification like this.

Were the runs done in 3rd or 4th gear?

Also why was the correction left at uncorrected? SAE? I know this was just a comparison dyno, so it's not important.

Thank you TUKO for taking the time and money to actually get this tested. Glad to see at least some willing to do this.
While I was getting dyno'd I wasx speaking to someone who personally tunes vq35's on a emanage. He tuned a sentra with a vq swap and with just bolt on was putting down 280whp. I asked what he felt and that's what he said. That's also the average gain via a utec. TS reflash is nice but the tune is a shot in the dark. Most power will be gained on a dyno and street tune.

The most power made with a filter was 258. They wanted to see if it would make power witout the filter. The first run with no filter made 257. We let the car cool off for a few minutes and then put down 260. With or without a filter doesn't make much of a difference. Aaron from NWP noticed the same on the dyno and on the track.

My rev limit is at 7200.

You also have to realize this is compare to a stock non ssim manifold with a block off plate. Over a completely stock manifold the gains before redline will probably reach past or close to 20whp for most of the higher rpm band regardless of a TS reflash or not. Block off plate is proven to give ~10whp.
