As a former fabricator, I gotta say this looks fun. I can already foresee some of the work you are gonna do and problems you will run into, but if you can get it pulled off, this will be an impressive machine. Look into a new steering rack. the tranny is gonna go right through the one that is alreay there. maybe take one of a g35 or M35

yes I plan sharing some parts from the G35/Z platforms and yea basically the whole center of the car is getting chopped out :P

That's the beauty of Nissan. Like 3-4 platforms across across like 14 cars-lots of part-sharing is possible

I took a long, hard look at my life and asked myself if I should drop out of college and be a dope dealer. Clearly, I made the wrong choice because my pockets are the opposite of this picture.

The 6 spd will also work from the previous gen Sentra SE-R. It's a 6 spd with an HLSD and will bolt right up. All you'll need to do other than that is get the 6 spd shifter for the reverse lockout.

Count me in on this thread for info and updates. Very interesting.
