If not, what do you feel is the best style/brand out?

is there a reason why you are only looking at this intake?

fujita, K&N and injen are the ones most people in here have or have used. weapon R products in my opinion are garbage. this is from personal experience and others as well. take a look at those brands and see if you like them. and CARID prices are very high. even if u wanted the weapon R look else where to buy it

look on ebay or amazon for a weapon r. CarID does charge more than other sites for some reason...maybe they offer a longer warranty...idk

I have to agree with twista. I put an injen in my 2010 2.5 and it really does sound mean above 3000 rpm's. Friends of mine told me it sounded like a VQ. I noticed a slight difference in pull to. My car is red and black and so is the intake so thats cool too haha

I reasearched each manufactures dyno results and found injen beat everyone. So I went with it and love it. polished aluminum and red filter = beautiful!!!!

Would recommend the prefilter that goes over all filters, so you wont have to clean it as often.

Ive done alot of mods now, and the Injen intake has been by far my favorite. instant power with good look under the hood. And yes the engine does get louder!

CAI doesn't matter if there are no dyno's proven to out perform it.

Thumbs up

I've been looking at the K&N Typhoon.... But it's so dam expensive, I think it sits the best or looks the most naturally in place of the CAI's but that just my opinion.

I hear ya. You can get the injen intake in black like the k&n.....save $100..... and top k&n by a couple HP on the dyno. That's all I'm saying. Got mine to $250 shipped with the hrydoshield prefilter to cut back on maintenence of the filter.

Either way I'm sure you'll be happy

I ordered the Injen polished from THMotorsports on 11/8. It should be here Tuesday... Got it for under $200 shipped, but they ordered it direct from Injen, thus the long wait...

Damn you got a great deal. Fyi. The clamp that came with mine seemed a little tight and a challenge ti get on. If you run into the same trouble go buy a larger clamp and will need to cut/file notches to fit the heat shield assembly. Hope tou don't encounter this but don't go crazy when tour local shop can save you headache and frustration for $1.82

Enjoy!
