Ehhh. Raspy kinda makes me think fart can. I mean the definition of a ricer is to have exterior mods which MAKE your car seem faster or higher end. Taking out the res gives you zero performance changes therefore it falls under the category of ricer, but it doesn't have the fart can sound. But if it were me, i would of put the res back in right away.

not to sound totally opposite from everyone because all the exhausts i heard so far sounds great especially the guy with the 4 res and no mufflers;i found that with my altima my exhaust was way too loud so I used a generic pilot muffler and added a borla intercooler dual tips with a 2.5 cat back.

Look over at Magnaflow. Tons of guys were using the 18" and 22" resonators. I had the 22" one, but only had the bigger one because I had headers on my'05. You could probably get away easily with the 18" one.

Awesome. Got my stillen exhaust this morning. However i cant install the thing myself because im using 7" car ramps and if i dont have someone watching them, one could slip out from under my car while im trying to get up there and seriously damage some stuff under my car so i gotta wait till one of my friends and I are both off. But goddammit i want them ****ers on my car!!!

Not to mention YOU getting hurt too.

Unfortunately, exhaust installs are definitely a hoist job.

I've seen a lot of people use 2-3 car jacks. That guy who has the nismo exhaust rollindeep or something used a couple jacks, didnt even go as high as my ramps do. I think i should be okay. I mean LOTS of people install exhausts with no access to a hoist.

But the only time the ramp would slip out is WHILE im backing my car up onto the ramp itself. While im under it as long as its in park and the parking break is on, then it should be stable. More stable then using jacks, thats for sure.

1.5 hours and NUMEROUS small cuts later, my stillen exhaust is now installed and i must say, it sounds SO much better and VERY deep of a tone. Todays weather was a bit windy but it was showers on and off all day, i was working outside in my driveway with 2 car ramps holding up the rear by 7.5 inches. It was a tight gap to work with in the middle but i accomplished it. Word of advice, if you are of less then average strength, then PAY someone to do this cause i could just barely get all the screws apart from the rust. Lots of elbow grease. When i busted out the video camera, it started raining pretty bad, PERFECT timing for me to finish install but ill get you guys a video tomorrow.

But i did get this picture in before the rain came, snapped a couple others too but mainly of what i used to install the stuff....came out blurry however

CRIMP!!

Examining the crimp, it seriously looks like they got a big fella to just jump on the same spot a couple times. Stillen catback was smooth throughout.
