Nismo Exhaust

So I finally installed my Exhaust for my 3.5 Altima and I thinks its too loud. any one in my area have a stillen and want too trade? I heard the stillen is quieter. I think since the Nismo has no resonator it makes it louder. You guys think if I put in a resonator in it should make it quieter? Im not a fan of the drone sound at highway speeds.

instead of trading, just add a resonator, go to your muffler shop or what have you and talk it out with them; should be very helpful. good luck

Too Loud? You must have sensitive ears. I have 2 magnaflows with no resonator

There is drone at 2k RPMs but its something you get used to and never bothered me.

And adding a resonator (even though people usually go about it the opposite way) would probably do the trick for what you wanted)

The 4th gen Sedan's Nismo catback does not come with a resonator. Its not even the same mufflers as the 3rd gen's.

Yeah but the noise/sound is just about the same.

Yup it's like a straight pipe from the Cat Back. The mufflers look like a universal muffler straight through design.

There are definitely some differences between the two designs. The 4th gen one looks less focused on looks and sound but more on some sort of hp gain.

I don't remember what the older one is but these are 3"/2.5" and looks very free flowing, especially the mufflers.

The mufflers look just like magnaflow racing mufflers though.

Wow if I'd have known there was a meet yesterday I would have went there instead of the track, only to not be able to run since it was Honda day.
