Hi, yes i never ever been at the track and you know what i say - I DO NOT LIKE IT, my car never got so much abuse as at that night!
Firstival i was very upset with the time, but then i kind of check around and found out that with my bad ass start i did 110mph and instantly become happy!))))
Car got 225/45 15s on with ~17psi boost on turbo, weather conditions were very very cold (exactly why no traction) about 10-12C, and my city Calgary altitude is 3400 ft above sea!
And some vids i got a buddy with some spare time and GPS so we did couple of top speed puls, 232 with those smaaaal tires, wait until i got those 18s on)
Yes it speens all through 2 and yes it is "funny" cluster because i have 01 Altima Cluster which goes to 220kmp, which i am trying to do a write up for DIY section but not going very far!)))
are you running that much boost on stock internals or did you do a build?
12 is really the safe max if you didnt replace the pistons, at least.
your traction is whats killing you. you can see that by your 60' time.
but you are making up for it down the track.
good times all things considered. turn down the boost and youll get a lot more traction.

Turbo cars are not as effective as N/A when it comes to elevation. You can't blame elevation for your time, you can blame your "first time ever to the track".
Great first attempt though, you do have a really fast car. Your trap speeds are showing that your car can do 12's with a 2.0-2.1 to 60 foot.

Why did you guys moved me, i am going to post all my pics from the build i guess i should of start thread like My build instead of this one!(((
Yes the engine is build Asleep!)
car has a lot of power for sure but needs a much much better driver to get good times at the drag strip.
not trying to be an asshole, just being captain obvious.
he just needs more practice. better driving will come with that. most people cant drive their cars once they up the power so much and need to relearn it.
sweet jesus, a 4.x 60' time. Now that, my friends, is the most awesome thing I've ever seen. You basically did a rolling burnout like somebody else said. I love it. As Asleep said though, just gotta learn it. You will beat the **** outta the car, but thats why it's built!
What are the specs on this car anyway @ 17psi, what turbo and computer you running?

aint gonna happen on a fwd car with low profile tires. those sidewalls dont flex enough for the contact patch to flatten out and grip.
Yeah, but feathering the clutch he could do better than the 2.6-2.7's he's getting...Looks like he's just flooring the gas and letting them spin, which lets the boost come on and that just makes things worse...
I've seen 500hp Cobra's on 18" wheels get 1.7 60's before...
