For the boost pros . Wideband question

As of now the old tuner had my AEM wideband in place of the stock #1 o2 sensor. Was that rite or wrong. He didn't even have the sensor hooked up.. I swore it was wrong and we were never getting a accurate reading. Should I reinstall the stock O2 and get another bung welded in the downpipe for the wideband? Also did you wire the wide band into the wiring harness or just used the gauge and that was it.?

I wired my plx m300 into the engine harness, replacing the stock narrowband. JWT also suggested to me, to keep the stock narrowband, and get a secondary bung for the wideband o2. So far, I'm under the impression that my wideband is telling me the correct information.

With the AEM you do not need any of the factory sensors. And yes, you should always run a signal to your ecu for data logging purposes, and to monitor for a fuel system failure.
