A friend of mine is in the Air Force and was deployed in Japan for 4 years. While he was there he had a GT-R Skyline and was thinking of importing it back to the states with him when he came home. He said that it would have cost roughly $22,000 USD to do so... so first off, it will probablly cost you more in the shipping, and docking, inspections, emission, and so on then the car it self costs. So probablly not worth it, also JDM cars must be tuned down to pass stateside emissions, and pretty often when average people buy cars and have them imported, something along the way goes wrong and they have theirs cars taken from them by the government and either crushed or auctioned off... so I personally wouldn't waste my time or money doing that, but if you REALLY want to, be prepared to spend a lot of money and a lot of time doing it correctly, find a reputable importer who can find the car you want and go through all the hassle. If I were you, just get the S15 front end have it professionally molded to your car, and drop a JDM motor in it.... I know it won't be the real thing, but much easier, cheaper and less of a headache..
