Based on what? Per tank?

Fill up the tank. Reset trip counter. Do your normal driving. Fill up the tank. Divide the miles on the trip counter by the gallons you put back in. Miles per gallon....

Well here is an update for all that are intrested. I replaced the ECT,Temp sensor, and thermostat. I have not seen any diffrrence. My fans still come on and the idle is still at 1000-1100rpm when hot. Both fans come on regardless of AC on or off. I will try and bleed the system for air pockets and go from there but as of now I have confirmed my appt to the nissan dealer here in CT for monday 7am. If anyone has advise pleas post. My car and my computer are side by side.

PS I get about 28mpg on the highway but I get crappy mileage on the street can't even figure it out since I don't drive locally. The car is only being used to commute to work 70miles each way 280 in 2 days fill up with 10 gallons average.

To clear that up. I love the highway miles but when we drive the car on the streets very rare but we do, The needle drops from full to low and no where near the 280miles more like 180miles

Wait for what. I have another 40 plus hours b4 dealer time. I have only monday for this problem since its a holiday for my company. I need the car and the wife needs the other and paying for a rental, I rather pay the dealer for repairs on a day off while getting paid.

As of this test I ran I got 10mpg I drove to several spots around town and made a few on and off I used 2.824 gallons at the same pump same gas same day. I only drove 30miles no faster than 65 for 5miles total highway time and 35mph on the rest.

Brian, can the sensor be seen from above ? I looked at changing the PCV valve once and gave that up as a bad idea. Is the sensor easier to get to ?
