First let me say hello from a new guy here.
I have a 1996 Altima GXE and recently purchased a new flasher unit due to problems with the trun signals (staying on a not blinking). My question is where does this flasher unit go? I looked by the fuse panel under the dashboard and there are four similar shaped pieces there, but this is a three prong piece and those are all four or more. The main fuse box under the hood did not show the turn signals anywhere on the cover and unfortunately all I have is the owner's manual at this point. Where does this go? Thanks in advance for any help!!!
You can download the Factory Service Manual from here:
PhatG20 - Downloads
And you should buy a Haynes manual, or just borrow one from your local public library.
Thanks for the help. I found where it goes, after removing the lower plastic kick panel under the steering wheel and the metal support behind it, it is located off to the passengers side of the steering wheel.
