Intake to head, nuts and bolts = 12-14 ft. lb.
Throttle body = Initial torque to 6.5-8.0 ft. lb. Then final torque to 13-16 ft. lb.

yes I used 3/4 dayco hose. it's antifreeze hose.

don't use heater hose for PCV valve though. buy a special hose for PCV. merle's have those hoses.

forgot to add.

if you tighten the heater, fuel or other hoses too loose they will leak after 1-2 month.

I tightened those hoses around intake pretty well. but did not tighten heater hoses around radiator. so one of them started to leak and had to be replaced. then I checked all clamps. there were all loose. so I tightened them up again.
that's after 2 months

those are vacuum hoses. I think 5mm. measure the aluminum pipes with caliper and buy vacuum hoses 1-2mm smaller in diameter.
so if that aluminum pipe for hose is 5mm. you should get 4mm hose.

im going to attempt to replace my intake manifold gasket with a buddy of mine this weekend. I have a 2000 altima gxe and I've got the gasket already, but what kind of sealant and coolant do I need to get?

I especially like the photography with graphic "call outs".

As a novice, just trading a 91 ford explorer for a 99 Nissan, I've figured out where the battery, fuses, spark plugs, valve cover, PS, power brake, etc is. But, there are some new items, especailly polution control devices, and I see acronyms like: EGR pipe, IACV, ECU, HUD & ATC

Is there a graphic available that shows the location of all these devices and what the acronyms mean?

Thanks,

NO RTV! If you want to use anything, use Permatex copper spray adhesive, otherwise, leave it dry!!!

Thanks,
ECU= electronic control unit ( Also PCM)

EGR pipe is pipe, that goes from the exhuast mainfold to the intake mainfold

IACV is the Idle Air Control Valve
