like an airgun being shot when air is on and pressing on gas

Okay, I've had this problem since I got my car.
Whenever I accelerate I hear crap coming out of my engine department. I've notices that I think it is coming out of my low pressure side of my air.
Any ideas of what causes this?

low pressure side of you A/C system ... if that's the case it could be something to do with the charge pressure and a saftey valve? ...
need to be a little more specific than sounds like something coming out of my engine compartment ... ie. timing chain guides or pops bangs, etc. ....
have one of your friends rev the engine in your driveway and see if that duplicates the problem ...

okay, it is the A/C where the noise is coming from. pressure is coming out of the low pressure valve whenever I am driving down the street with the A/C on and trying to slam on the gas.
Also, when A/C is on... EXTREME more than any other car I've ever had lack of performance.

Tighten the AC belt some via the AC idler pulley. Search the forum, there are plenty of threads on it.

Here is a recent one,
