Blinker not working and then working....wtf..help

Hi, the blinker of my 2001 Altima is acting up. its been about 2 weeks now. When i switch it on, it might blink once, 5 times, any amount of times and them stop or it will blink for a while without stopping. It is both sides. Sometimes it doesnt even turn on. I took it to the place where i bought it from and after 2 hours without finding what was wrong with it, i left.

The guy at advance auto said it might be the swtich but i guess not since the other guys couldnt find anything wrong it with

What do you guys think is wrong with it?

Flasher module or a loose connection somewhere in that circuit.

i would agree with jserrano, its either the flahser relay(but i cant think of why that wouldnt be the first thing the shop checked) the other would be a loose conection.... either the power wire to/from the switch or the power wire or ground to the relay....... itll probably take some time and a voltameter to find what and where.....
----it could be the switch itself, nothing in this world says that the people you bought if from know what they are doing
id change the relay first... thats the cheapest fix, if that doesnt solve it, id change the switch unless its too costly.... only if i had too would i start tracing wires and checking connections-- a job thats not fun for someone who knows what they are doing, let alone a noobie to do-it-yourself repair work

The Nissan dealer wants 85 bucks just to find out whats wrong with it. Do you guys think an independent mechanic will be able to do it?

Also, 2 days ago, the brake light bulb on the right side was burnt out so i replaced it. Tonight, the back light on the same side isnt working. Do you guys think my electrical system is falling apart?!!! OMG
