also, if i recall correctly, mythbusters actually tested a hydrogen producing device, and it didnt do shit
Ding Ding Ding!! I can't believe someone (another noob of course) actually brought up mythbusters and it's ad to prove this fake crap. Sad to say but mythbuster showed this to be BUSTED.
What's next? Late night infomercial proving that this crap works?

aww so they stopped defending this? I just read back and saw others picked up the ball where I lost all interest in trying to inject common sense into the propaganda and conspiracy theories.
I was really really expecting a "Big Oil bought out myth busters" comment somewhere in there..

they must have realized that some of us have common sense , plus its hard defending a scam to people who have some auto knowledge .
they all go away because they can't defend there scam and they have to spend there time on other sites to "convert" people .
don: yea, nothin in that link surprises me. thats exactly what we were saying in this thread if you look at my saying "you increased mileage by leaning out the engine and running more chemicals than were used in World War II." I wonder whatever happened to that dude? Wonder if he's burned those rings yet that I said he'd burn..

Ok, I didn't bother to read too much (especially on their site), but it sounds to me like they're trying to sell an electrolysis device.
Indeed, Hydrogen Fuel Injection (HFI) is a very good way to improve your fuel economy, and increase power. They have been using these systems on 18-wheelers for many years. However as far as I know, they do not offer such systems for light cars and trucks. The ones used in trucks are way too big to fit in our cars. Here's a link.
Injecting hydrogen is not as easy as these scammers claim... Everything in your engine has to be modified, including timing, AF ratio, etc... If you simply vent some hydrogen-oxygen mixture down the intake, problems are bound to occur.

none of these devices can instantly produce varying amount of hydrogen based on engine demand , so they can't and wont effectively work !!!
if you run extra fuel into the intake there is no way for the car's computer to meter it and make adjustments !!!
