Hella 9007? high wattage?

I am looking at replacing my current xenon look-alike type bulbs with a Hella 80/100 watt replacement. For some reason I was thinking it might not be able to handle this type of power increase, am I wrong or right?

You are right. I had Nokya 100W xenon bulbs in my car for about 2 months, and one day my left headlight went out, and everytime after that the headlight would be out when I turned the car on, and I would have to pop the hood, and fiddle with it to come back on. After about a week and 1/2, it finally just stopped working, and I put the ebay Xenon bulbs I had in there before the Nokya's back in, and I haven't had a problem since. The ebay bulbs are holding me over till I put this HID Kit in that I've been sitting on for a little bit. But yea, I would advise you to not go that high in wattage, you may run into the same type problems I had.

Lol, I wouldn't have either, the only reason I did is because I was working on The Alt today, was under the hood, and on the headlight it says 65W/55W. Happened to be good timing lol.
