i got oem headlights. want to know if there is anyway to get hid quality lights that are just replacements. i dont wanna pay $200+ for lights, not yet atleast. (stilll in highschool)
You will never get HID quality out of just a bulb. If you want a HID look, get a HID Kit. Now granted, there are bulbs that are brighter and better than others, but a majority of the time the bulbs that have a decent brightness and look to them are much higher than stock wattage, and in turn can **** your shit up.
Check these 3 threads out. They will all help you out.

so they can in fact mess up my wiring, if i do get those from ebay?
Another question, i got a first gen, and i was wondering if getting hids in the oem headlights would look bad. to me there ugly as sh*t and yellow but i just dont have the money to get some new wuns. all in all the question is do the oem headlights screw up the look of hids?
^Yea, they can potential **** up your wiring. Putting HID's in your stock headlights wouldn't look bad though, it just would look a lot better with a clear lens/new headlights. But it still will look good, and you can always upgrade in the future and get the headlights, and it will look even better. And thanks, they are 20000K.
Yup. I washed the car to get rid off all the shit and make sure it was clean, I cleaned the calipers and brake drums with brake cleaner, used a metal brush and sanded everything, hit it with the brake cleaner again, and then primered it, and painted it. It's really just time consuming, not too hard.

I just used a steel brush to sand everything, worked great. A deGreeser probably would work, I just bought this caliper & brake cleaner from Autozone for $5.
