97 Altima P0400 & P0325

I recently did an intake manifold gasket repair for a P0304 (cylinder 4 misfire). I put it all back together and now I am getting a P0400 (insufficient egr flow) and a P0325 (Knock Sensor). I tried cleaning the egr because I read in a forum that a knock sensor code usually comes with another code, so they said to focus on the EGR. I removed the egr and applied vacuum it holds. I did the checks on the BPT and it as well holds vacuum. i even checked the solenoid valve and it is also working properly. I am stumped and I need some suggestions from someone who did the job and got the same codes or someone who knows why the codes appeared. Thanks in advance.

You need to get the engine warmed up and then sense the diaphragm from underneath the EGR valve. Next softly raised and lower the engine around the 2000 rpm point. If you get very little to no movement then you've confirmed an EGR problem. I've written extensively on this stuff so do a search and hopefully that will help. If not, then just post back.

For the KS, you'll likely have to replace it.

Fixed P0400 and P0325 codes I Hope

I had the two vacuum lines backwards so the EGR wasn't getting movement under load of the motor. I had the green which is "C" I believe swapped with the gray which is "B" I believe. The "C" is supposed to have vacuum under load of the motor and didn't. Instead "B" had the load. I read in your forum and I found it. Thanks for all the help JSERRANO you are the best.
