Ok well it is what you need after you remove the handles and WELD in patches from the holes left from removing the handles. The steel is not included in this kit. Any questions you have on installing this give me a shout i have done around 20 shaved handle kits.

Is it possible to install the kit but leave the door handles in place..that way they can be opened with the remote and the old fashioned way?

well the kit comes with an emergency button you put on the outside of the car (hidden) ....I wouldnt tackle this myself..I would definitely see if the body shop can do it...i dont have the skill for something of this caliber

yeah but if you can keep the door handles in place then it will save you from having to go to the shop and having plates welded. Although it would kind of negate the whole purpose of the kit cause you'd still have door handles. But i think it would be cool to be able to open the doors remotely.

nah man it'll be too much of a headache if you get a big enough scratch on the paint within a specific molded area.....but of course the car would look sickkkkk

a friend of mine shaved the handles on his truck.. Thing was, he had a spare door around, and used the sheet metal from the old door to patch the handle hole, just measure both cut what you need along the same line and weld. Done deal
