HVAC Lights not lighting up after taking out bulb.

I was doing the whole LED switch with the stock bulbs. I finnally got into the HVAC.. -___-... and I ordered Neo 4 Bulbs but it actually takes Neo 5 bulbs in my 97 gxe. (Maybe changed in the past for some reason i dont know). I reseated the bulbs back in and twisted them. Tried to turn them on and they dont light... Any suggestions? I switched them around a couple of times. One time it worked and then the rest it didnt...

I'm afraid to try it with the dashboard and get the same results lol.

If you got LED Neo Wedges, they don't make good/sercure connections in our HVAC's.

You can either take a metal pick and pull out the metal wire (contact) out more to make a better contact, or you can take a little bit of crazy glue, and glue it down tight for a secure connection.

A tip, install them with the lights on, so you can see if they are lite up when you install them, and when/while you put it back together.

The Left is stock and the Right one is the NEO 4 one from Superbrightled.com

The one on the right has no type of good seating when i replace the bulb on the left it almost even goes through the hole lol but not quite if i were to do what you said and pick out the metal contacts would it still might work? Was thinking about just buying some Neo 5 ones since they seem to be the right size.

Just went on ahead and listened to some things you said and just electrical tape them untill I can guess access to something better lol..
That Fan lever is going to be my bitch tomorrow when I get off work thanks for the help ^_^.

One other thing. It seems after this my car is blowing cold air *not as cold as regular cold*when turned all the way to HOT. But note I only ran the car for like 1 minute half hour ago would the temperature change if the car was warmed up and ready to go or have i may have broke something? I'm still learning my car sorry for all the questions.

Good luck with that hot cold selector. If you can't figure it out may I suggest going to a junkyard and taking a picture of one there that's not been taken apart.

Got ya. And yea, it looks like for whatever reason your HVAC has Neo-5 wedge bulbs, whereas my 01 was Neo-4's.
