1995 Nissan Altima GXE + Day Time Running Lights

Hey Guys,

First off, my '95 Nissan Altima is a Canadian car, so it came standard with day time running lights already in place, and as I live in Canada, they're pretty important (because I was just ticketed because my DRL's aren't working).

Here's the issue - day time running lights are not working. When I turn on the lights (dim or brights, doesn't matter), the bright light indicator is turned on, and only my passenger side light will light up.

I've had a few people suggest that it is either the Day-time Running Light (DRL) module, or possibly the switch.

Any assistance on this issue would be helpful. I've also seen another posting related to the DRL module and it's location in the vehicle - supposedly it's behind the glove box - hoping that was accurate.

Let me know - thanks.

Mark

well, hope you don't give up on the forum due to lack of response,
but, like the others, I don't have a particular clue on your lighting version ...

Of course I can't find the thread right now. But I remember reading about a Maxima who had a similar issue. Turned out to be bad solder joints in the DRL module.
