Need more lighting power from headlights

I have a 97 altima.. I need to see better at night cause the current 55w /65 watt bulbs are too dim..aftermarket hids just scatter the light with no improvement.. But I see 85/80w bulbs on ebay for sale..question is will they melt my wiring harness if i use them?

I wouldn't advise getting them. They blow out very quickly. The wattage is way to high.

Do HID's with a projector setup.

^i agree, if u want better lighting which ends up being HID, ull need to do a projector retrofit so u have proper beam cutoff and not just random scattering cuz of the reflective housing

Thanks Bee.

Jets, take a look through my MH1 thread. There's also a link to a 1g MH1 thread in there too.
