Boosted 2nd gen project- done

Used the many helpful links here, ka-t, and various other sites to put together a reliable and daily driven 2nd gen. Many thanks to those who contributed DIY threads and other helpful information/links.

Had the machine shop who prepped the block also assemble the short block. Long block and everything else a buddy and I did. Start up and break in went well. Have about 2k hard driven miles on it so far with no issues or CEL's. Still able to get 315-375 miles to the tank with "spirited" driving. Big plus for a daily driver.

Search funtion definitely works

Even the sales rep didn't even know they were made for our car until I gave him the part number in the catalog. You also order whatever spring rate you want at no extra charge. Got the 6k/4k vs the original 7k/5k for these haggard roads around my area.

The front coilover top mounts actually did not line up. Just barely off.

I'm going to give them a call tomorrow to tell them what's up and hopefully get taken care of for future orders. Since I had the rears fully installed and 3-4 week shipment from Taiwan sucks, I just took a rat tail file and took off just a hair for the studs to slide through. No problems so far. Nothing major but just annoyed because I expected better from a $1k set of coilovers.

With machine shop labor and all parts including turbo and clutch, it put me at around $4700 and few hundred in miscellaneous things.
Coilovers ran me another $1k.
Spanned over about a year, it actually wasn't too bad.

OEM cooling system is plenty efficient for the added load.
Water temp hasn't moved past half way on the gauge when driven hard.
