Forum Rules
I am going to be working with Mike to try to clean this forum a little cleaner, make it easier to navigate. A few simple steps by all of you will make everyone's life easier.
1. If you are selling something, please start it "F/S: *****" and not, "look at this thread" or some unrelated title. Give us an idea of what it is your are selling.
2. If you are looking to buy, please use "WTB" or something similar.
3. The more descriptive you are, the better your chances of getting what you want, whether you are a buyer or a seller. Posting "Enkei 17" rims $500." doesn't really do much for anyone.
4. Please keep posts relevant to the thread.
5. Please do not hijack someone else's thread. You would be upset if someone did that to you if you were trying to do business.....don't do it to someone else.
6. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE check the feedback forum before you come in here and start spending $$ or selling parts. You need to know who you are dealing with, and who you need to stay away from. The feedback forum is there for your benefit, use it!
THANKS!

What to do if you get scammed:
ALL:
Please be careful of who you are dealing with and what you are doing. Several people have been scammed lately by other "members" on the site. I unfortunately don't have all the information on members like you guys may think, nor does Mike or anyone else.
I am going to make some suggestions to all. But understand, you guys are buying and selling at your own risks. It is a sad fact, but not everyone on the internet can be trusted!!! You all need to take steps to protect yourselves during the transactions!
1. Assume all the risks. You need to realize that you are taking a chance when dealing with someone on the internet. If you are not willing to take the chance, then don't do it!!
2. The number 1 suggestion is the use of COD. Anything over $100, I suggest paying the extra $10 for the peace of mind, knowing that the transaction will go much smoother. The other big suggestion is using a USPS money order, and mailing payment with return receipt. If you do get ripped off, its a matter of "FEDERAL FELONY MAIL FRAUD" and believe me, that will get some people's attention.
3. Use paypal if you need to make instant payment. However, be aware that you must file a complaint within 30 days of payment if a transaction falls through!!
4. If in doubt, I would also suggest that a person use EBay. Post the item on Ebay, have the seller buy the item on Ebay, and go from there. Ebay has many channels in which it attempts to help protect the buyer as well as the seller.
Again, you need to realize that you are taking a chance by purchasing anything from a private party online. I do not want to discourage anyone from using the Marketplace, because it is a great asset to nissanclub.com. However, everyone needs to know what is involved.
I am the moderator of the forum. If you have a problem, please let me know or another moderator know. If you know a thief is back from the past, please let me know immediately so that we can shut down the thread before someone else becomes a victim.
Please enjoy the forums, but be careful with what you are doing!!
