see, no it does not.... just replacing the stalk will not work? i have to have had the "auto" previously?

ok but why is that? does that mean that my car is not prewired for fogs?

i dont really know why is that.. all i know is there are two kits.. one with an "auto" stalk and one without... there has to be a reason why... and all 3rd gens have prewired fogs...

like what ducz said, if you do not have the "auto" on your current stalk, you will need a manual stalk(without "auto") for the fogs to work. the auto function is a sensor that knows when to turn your lights on. all altima's are prewired for fogs except the base models. i hope this helps.

it does not matter what stalk you have. Your headlights just will not work automatically when its dark out thats all. I know this because i use it all time. Please let me know if the fogs are still available, lol ALso i believe i have the stock w/o the auto if someone wants it
